3:30 - 4:30 pm Joint Plenary with ASB Unplugged Leadership Educators - Goal is to meet with adult plenary about 2 1/2 hours after students start to have students debate/ share and get feedback from adults - 1 hour session with adults. - 3 teams each present/ debate at 3 adult tables to get feedback - adults need some sort of rubric (may only be able to do 2 tables) - 20 minutes each table

Student debate in front of tables - critical question - are they using fact or are they using emotion? Use rubrics - get logic supported, fact based decision making - research based - less emotive.
Opening Session / Dinner - Students - then go home with their host families

2 pm - Final prep for debates
3 pm - Final Debates - 2 rooms of adults - rubrics for scoring the debates - selection of "winners" from debate.
4 pm - Debriefing/ Reflection session with students - webcams, multimedia - post to Ning
5 pm - announcement of "winning" teams.
Saturday Feb 27
Strand 1 - Digital Storytelling Strand "Winners" Spend Saturday with Bernajean and are allowed to select the aspect of the debate they wish to bring forward to the world and create digital stories to share with the audience on Saturday afternoon. Strand 2 - Web 2.0 Action Project Strand - Creation of proposal for action project harnessing web 2.0 to address a global environmental issue, practice, or conservation effort.
